Rights-of Way 

The Rights-of-Way Section administers active rights-of-way easements, right-of-entry permits and archeological surveys.  

During the past five years, the section has more than doubled the number of educational easements issued to schools that use State Trust Lands for outdoor instruction. The section is working with the oil and gas industry to develop and implement guidelines and procedures to address emergency situations. The procedures involve granting right-of-entry permits and temporary surface pipelines.
