Information Technology is a cornerstone of the State Land Office. Much of the information provided to the public relies on technology and applications developed and systems maintained by the Information Technology Division. In addition to managing the agency network, equipment and software, the division develops applications or oversees projects to automate agency records and record-keeping systems.
Martin Davis, Information Technology Director
Martin Davis received his degree in Information Technology Management and serves as the Information Technology director for the State Land Office, a role that carries the additional title of chief information officer. He has worked in the information technology field for over 20 years, and has held a variety of technical and leadership positions. He has served as the Chief Information Officer for the State Land Office for the past twelve years and served in a similar capacity with the Attorney General’s Office. He has held other positions including system administrator, information systems manager, Information Technology consultant, network and system engineer, forensic analyst, security administrator, and software developer.
