Kristin Haase returns to the State Land Office as Assistant Commissioner for Communication, a position she held for eight years during a previous administration. In her current role, Kristin is directing communications, public relations and marketing strategy for Commissioner of Public Lands Aubrey Dunn and the State Land Office.
During her accomplished career, Kristin has served as an assignment manager and news producer at KOCO, Oklahoma City, OK; KOB, KOAT and KRQE/KASA, Albuquerque, NM; and KLAS, Las Vegas, NV. Her career interests led her to the political arena where for four years she served as Communication Director for the New Mexico Senate Republican Caucus, managed two successful statewide campaigns for former Commissioner of Public Lands Pat Lyons, and consulted on campaign fundraising efforts for Commissioner Dunn.
During her hiatus from the State Land Office, Kristin attended Petroleum Landman School in Oklahoma City and served as a mineral abstracter specializing in state land ownership reports.
Kristin is married to Demian Anderson and they live in Santa Fe.
