Bob Jenks, Deputy Commissioner of Public Lands 
Bob Jenks is a native New Mexican and graduate of New Mexico State University, earning both bachelors and masters of science degrees in wildlife science. He has more than 27 years experience managing organizations, programs, and projects associated with land, wildlife and natural resources.
Jenks started his public service career with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish as a conservation officer and later held positions as biologist, big game project leader, assistant chief for conservation services, and deputy director. His public service career included opportunities to serve as programs director for the Valles Caldera National Preserve, assistant state land commissioner, and deputy commissioner of public lands for New Mexico.
